One of the kings of energy in the hip-hop genre is returning this weekend. Rising rapper Wiz Khalifa from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has released a new single called “Hit It Once,” part of his forthcoming Kush + Orange Juice 2 album. This release will be the official follow-up to his extremely well-received 2010 mixtape of the same title. It’s widely acknowledged that, aside from Snoop Dogg, Wiz is arguably the most discerning individual when it comes to weed. He has been associated with this brand since its emergence in the last decade, which has led to a significant amount of his overall success.
Leave well enough alone; there’s no need to fix something that isn’t broken. The formula for “Hit It Once” remains the same, with a twist added this time around. Wiz Khalifa incorporates reggae elements to deliver a fully immersive and captivating listening experience. The track features two notable verses from him. They still become disoriented in the very relaxing, soothing, and peaceful instrumental music, and we mean that in the most positive sense. This is undoubtedly one of the standout singles of the year so far in terms of atmosphere. To date, this is the fourth promotional release from Kush + Orange Juice 2. Based on current information, the stacked project is expected to feature Don Toliver and Smoke DZA, along with renowned producers such as Lex Luger, Ty Dolla $ign, Cardo, and several others.
