Snoop Dogg is in the final stages of preparing for the release of his much-anticipated album with Dr. Dre, titled Missionary. This project serves as a sequel to his legendary 1993 debut, Doggystyle, and is scheduled to be launched on December 13. To build excitement among fans, the rapper from California has released a new single today, “Outta Da Blue,” which features contributions from Dr. Dre and New Jersey vocalist Alus.
The new track was initially previewed at ComplexCon just a few days ago and is also included in the trailer for the forthcoming Netflix film, “Back In Action,” starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz. In addition to producing the song, Dr. Dre showcases his lyrical prowess with some impactful verses. Notably, the track incorporates a sample from M.I.A.’s 2007 hit, “Paper Planes.” The debut of “Outta Da Blue” follows closely on the heels of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre revealing the star-studded tracklist for Missionary, further heightening anticipation among fans for what is to come.
