Lil Baby – Touchdown

Lil Baby Touchdown

Lil Baby is naming his upcoming album WHAM, an acronym that stands for Who Harder As Me. Given the title, listeners should anticipate some extremely boastful and self-assured trap songs. It could be more than just a simple collection of those. A blend of themes could also be included that still align with Baby’s objectives. The Atlanta native brings a renewed hunger and determination to the mic on his latest single, “Touchdown,” a quality that’s been noticeably absent from his recent work. He now has a distinct perspective, considering he’s one of the largest MCs in the industry despite the current sentiment surrounding his music.

He won’t be releasing songs like “Freestyle” frequently, given that time frame was about him establishing himself. However, he also has a certain amount of pressure on him at the moment. By and large, people believe his quality has been declining since the release of his collaboration tape with Lil Durk, titled The Voice of the Heroes. With an upbeat track like “Touchdown,” which embodies a driven attitude, it will be essential for Baby to have songs in this energetic style. In terms of what it’s aiming for, the track is straightforward, but he comes across as more energetic on the Wheezy production, which is quite dark. It may take some time for him to regain momentum, but overall, this marks a solid return to his previous form for Lil Baby.
