South African artists Zee Nxumalo, DJY Biza, and 031choppa made a recent appearance on Malume’s track featuring Springl.
The first track, Uhambe, draws the listener in with its memorable melodies, pulsating bass line, and complex rhythmic patterns. The opening track establishes the tone for the rest of the EP, providing a groove that’s both highly engaging and relaxed. The artists’ vocal elements bring an additional layer of complexity, making every track feel dynamic and emotionally rich.
The title track “Malunde” is a high-energy song that blends traditional Amapiano beats with contemporary styles. The track’s vibrant percussion and soulful melodies generate a captivating atmosphere, turning it into a dancefloor favourite from the very start. In contrast, Keep It Moving presents a more laid-back atmosphere, featuring gentle, melodic hooks and soothing synth elements that serve as a calming counterpoint to the other tracks’ high energy levels.
Throughout the EP, artists 031Choppa, Shakes, and Les demonstrate their versatility by experimenting with various musical textures and rhythms. This EP showcases the artist’s creative skill in combining diverse styles to create the distinctive Amapiano sound, making it an essential listen for anyone who appreciates the genre.
