Consequence, Rick Ross, Ghostface Killah, Jim Jones & 38 Spesh Blood Stain III

Consequence has been consistently releasing excellent tracks throughout the year without seeking much attention. The song “No Consequences” was a notable collaboration with Kanye West, and “What Has America Done” featured the G.O.O.D. Music label. Music alumni team up with Chuck D, as “Blood Stain III” extends his winning streak. Consequence is going all out. He enlisted a whole roster of hip hop legends to create and recite exceptional rap verses. One of the most infectious Kanye West beats is found within a minute.

Consequence takes care of the hook on “Blood Stain III,” but ends up yielding to his featured artists. Ghostface Killah launches with a forceful, punchline-rich verse. Kanye hasn’t lost any speed and he even adds some RZA-inspired punching sounds to enhance the Wu-Tang vibe. Rick Ross is the next rapper in line, delivering a verse that’s even more boastful and polished than Ghost’s. On a 2024 posse cut, the presence of Jim Jones is an unexpected one, but he surprisingly fits in. He doesn’t really rap, but rather spits bars over the instrumental, and it’s still enjoyable. 38 Spesh wraps up the features, and he delivers his signature style in the background. Consequence brings the song to a close, delivering a verse that is arguably the second best. Review this as soon as possible.
