Bryant Barnes has unveiled a deeply personal new single titled “Why Can’t You,” in which he expresses themes of heartbreak and introspection. The song delves into the pain of unreciprocated affection and the journey of moving on from someone who does not return his feelings. Reflecting on the creation of the track, Barnes shared: “I recall a time when I was searching for various beats and found it challenging to discover anything that resonated with me. That evening, I dreamt of meeting an artist, yet I had no music for them to listen to, prompting me to wake up and think, I need to get to work.”
He continued: “I began crafting a song from the ground up, which was a first for me. Ultimately, I was pleased with the outcome! I chose to collaborate with Andrew Luce in Los Angeles to ensure we completed it. This process began over a year ago, and we have finally refined it to its current form. The song, like many others, reflects on one of the girls I was involved with in the past.” Fans on social media have expressed their enthusiasm for the new release.
