BossMan Dlow has been accumulating accolades in 2024 akin to the collection of Infinity Stones. He has earned the title of XXL Freshman, received a nomination for BET’s “Best New Artist,” and has achieved numerous certifications early in his career. His success can be attributed to his distinctive style, which draws from the unconventional elements of the Florida hip-hop scene, showcasing a variety of unique flows. Nonetheless, there has been some discussion regarding his methodology for each track. A common adage states, “If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.” However, dedicated music enthusiasts often value when artists venture beyond their established boundaries.
In his latest release, “The Biggest Pt. 2,” BossMan Dlow is indeed exploring new territory. While thematically he remains anchored to familiar subjects such as boasting, wealth, relationships, and violence, the innovation lies in his technical execution. In this track, Dlow aligns more closely with the beat’s tempo and exhibits a playful approach to his delivery, particularly evident in the first verse. As indicated by its title, “The Biggest Pt. 2” serves as a sequel to a song from his 2022 debut project, Too Slippery. Additionally, the “Get In With Me” artist has hinted at being in “album mode” through his Instagram Story, suggesting that a new LP may be on the horizon.
