DaBaby – HIM ft. Big Boogie

DaBaby & Big Boogie HIM

DaBaby and Big Boogie are dismissing criticism from naysayers on their latest track, “HIM.” This marks the first-ever collaboration between the Cleveland-born rapper and the Memphis native. On the track, they are fueling their own confidence tenfold and urging others to leave them alone. “Every time he confronts me, I’m infuriated, as hot as the desert in Nevada or the scorching heat of Phoenix (Hot) / Armed and prepared like a character in a movie when the robbers run into the bank, knowing it’s on me, I always maintain (Brrt).” Big Boogie maintains consistency in his verse by rapping, “Hating and being genuine don’t go hand in hand, ayy (Uh-uh, ayy, ayy, ayy) / Billionaire, baby, a Big Dude, baby, we’re on fire, we’re explosively popular.”

With a touch of Southern charm, producer BandPlay lends his expertise to this track. He is consistently teaming up with Tennessee’s most prominent artists. Key Glock, Young Dolph, and NLE Choppa, among others, are just a few. This single follows the release of DaBaby’s first project in two years, titled HOW TF IS THIS A MIXTAPE. The project premiered on streaming services in late September following the release of several singles and EPs. He also maintained a consistently high level of production with a prolific run of freestyles on YouTube. He captivated a large number of fans with his rap performances over widely popular instrumentals from songs like “Like That,” Latto’s “Big Mama,” and “Public Service Announcement.” DaBaby’s next move will be a strong outing in 2025, and he appears to be preparing himself for that challenge on the album “HIM.”
