41 (Kyle Richh, TaTa, & Jenn Carter) Split ft. Skilla Baby

The drill scene may appear to be primarily influenced by a select few prominent artists. However, we would like to bring your attention to the trio known as 41, if you are not already familiar with them. Comprising Kyle Richh, TaTa, and Jenn Carter, this Brooklyn-based group has been exceptionally prolific this year, consistently releasing high-energy tracks. Their breakthrough moment came in 2023 with the release of their hit single “Bent,” which featured on their second project within that year, titled 41 World: Not The Album. This track has proven to be pivotal in their careers, garnering attention from some of the most significant figures in hip-hop. Furthermore, it has led to numerous collaborations, including those with Cash Cobain, NLE Choppa, Fivio Foreign, and Lola Brooke.

Contributing to their rising success is the fact that each member is also releasing solo projects. This strategy mirrors the paths taken by some of hip-hop’s most iconic groups, such as Migos and OutKast, and is likely to enhance their visibility and respect among both peers and fans. This weekend, Kyle, Jenn, and TaTa will come together once again for their new single, “Split,” featuring Detroit’s Skilla Baby, who has also been making significant waves in the scene. While a traditional drill beat might typically serve as the foundation, this track leans more towards a Midwest trap sound, allowing Skilla Baby to seamlessly integrate into the mix. Nevertheless, 41 maintains their presence with their dynamic and intense flows that complement the overall energy of the track. Be sure to listen to “Split” through the link provided below.
