Roddy Ricch – Lonely Road ft. Terrace Martin

Roddy Ricch Lonely Road

The release of Roddy Ricch’s highly anticipated third studio album, THE NAVY ALBUM, has left some of his fans bewildered and wondering what is currently unfolding. Although he initially did not confirm the release date, he later informed fans on his social media accounts that the album will be available by 2025, as indicated in “THE NAVY ALBUM 🐺 2025.” Further clarification was provided regarding the current situation, but Apple Music has announced that the release date will be February 21. The forthcoming project will consist of 16 tracks, with the notable exception being that “911” is not included among the released singles.

The only certified inclusions are “Survivor’s Remorse” and “Lonely Road”, both produced by Terrace Martin. The latter serves as a form of apology for the album’s delayed arrival today, yet its significance extends far beyond a simple consolation prize. We genuinely believe that this could be Roddy Ricch’s most impressive track to date. He further explores similar themes from “Survivor’s Remorse” in this closing track, discussing his growth and challenges. In contrast to feelings of unease that occasionally arise, he is grateful for the challenges he has faced. The cut also features Turbo’s signature sound, albeit in a non-traditional manner. Roddy delivers a highly emotive and intense performance over a drum-free instrumental backing, while Martin impressively dominates the saxophone. It completely overwhelmed us, and we believe it will have the same effect on you.
