It is yet another weekend, which signifies an exciting time for fans of Tory Lanez. The controversial Canadian artist has returned with a new installment of “Lost Tapes,” and this release carries a unique significance. We have discussed this extensively, but throughout this series, Tory has incorporated various themes and notable collaborations. In this instance, he has teamed up once again with a fellow collaborator and label mate. For those who may not be aware, Tory Lanez is not only a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer but also the founder of a recording label known as One Umbrella, which boasts a more limited roster compared to many other artist-driven labels.
However, this does not diminish the importance of the collaborations among his artists. In this context, Tory Lanez has officially unveiled a new track featuring Davo, titled “Do You Remember.” Davo shares a similar artistic profile with Tory, as he also raps, sings, and produces. He has been releasing solo projects under One Umbrella since 2020, indicating that he has been diligently working towards his own success long before embarking on his solo career. The song reflects themes of overcoming skepticism and addressing disingenuous friendships. Additionally, as part of the “Lost Tape” series, another track titled “Wanna Fxck,” an R&B-inspired leftover from 2022, is also being released. Both tracks are available for listening below.
