Juice WRLD & Offset – Celebrate

Juice WRLD’s estate unveiled The Party Never Ends, his third posthumous album, on Friday. This album includes collaborations with notable artists such as Nicki Minaj, Eminem, and others. Among these contributors is Offset, who features on the track “Celebrate.” Produced by Metro Boomin, “Celebrate” remained unheard until it was leaked in December 2023. Metro Boomin had previously worked on the production for Fighting Demons, the second posthumous album released by Juice WRLD’s estate. The track presents a subtle yet impactful sound, reminiscent of what Juice might have released had he been alive, although it is evident that the song was incomplete during his lifetime.

The production carries a menacing tone, with both Juice WRLD and Offset delivering compelling verses. They incorporate references to street life, with both artists suggesting they would “put some money in the street,” indicating a bounty on someone. Offset’s verse is notably longer than Juice’s, likely intended to compensate for the song’s unfinished quality. His contribution aligns with the style typical of a Migos album, showcasing high-caliber street lyrics. He seamlessly fits into Metro Boomin’s production style, which is unmistakable. Juice WRLD’s estate has previously stated that The Party Never Ends will be the final posthumous album from the artist, who passed away on December 8, 2019, just six days after turning 21. Nevertheless, with over a thousand unreleased tracks attributed to him, it remains uncertain if this will indeed be the last. Regardless, “Celebrate” is worth a listen.
